Happy New Year everyone!!!
I hope you all had an amazing start into the new year and that you’re all happy and healthy! 🎉 Life is too short to feel any other way!
Many of us are starting the new year with new goals and new dreams to achieve. Wether that’s starting a business, learning a new hobby or a new language. The first day of January symbolises a new beginning. A fresh start. What could be a better occasion to start making changes in your life than that?
Besides some underlying stuff like getting work on my relationship with god, sticking to my workout routine, getting stronger and healthier as well as to become a better and happier person each day of my life I don’t really have any new year resolutions.
But what is a life without goals?
How do you hit a target when there is no target?
How do you cross the finish line, when there is no finish line? I am a curious person. Life and this world has so much to offer. So many emotions to feel, places to see, people to meet and memories to make. So instead of any new years resolutions that I will maybe even forget about after 3 weeks, I want to share with you: my bucket list for 2022.
By sharing this list with you and taking you along the journey of ticking every box on this list, I want to show you that, like I said, life has so much to offer. And that you can find beauty, action, power, love, energy and peace in each and every moment of your life. It’s truly not that hard. And I’ll show you just that. And by doing so I’ll hopefully inspire some people to just go out and try the things they’ve always wanted to try. I’ll hopefully take away Bodybuilder Benjamins fear of judgement from his friends when he goes to an art class or maybe give Small Town Sabrina enough courage to try Rally Driving.
Because in the end, life is too short not to try the things that give you a little tickle when you think about them.
So here it is, my 2022 bucket list:
- ride a horse along the beach when the sun sets
- go paragliding
- travel abroad alone
- climb a mountain so high the clouds are beneath you
- try archery
- try enduro riding
- try go kart driving
- try rally driving
- take a boxing class
- go to the Imagine Dragons Concert
- go to the One Republic Concert
- visit the capitals of Austrias federal states
- bike around Wörthersee
- take a boat to sail the Traunsee
- visit Hallstatt
- swim in Ossiachesee and visit Finsterbach Waterfalls
- Go diving in Wolfgangsee
- go camping on a mountain top
- run 15km (this is huge for me since I really don’t like running)
- let someone plan a trip somewhere without me knowing where I am going
- take an art class
- take a sushi cooking class
- take an indian cooking class
- take a vietnamese cooking class
- take an online class to learn baking
- visit a medieval market
- go to see ballet
- Mendelpass motorcycle tour
- Gardasee biketour
- take a Hiking Trip to Madeira
- Swim with Dolphins in Madeira
- Take a Jeep Safari through the Jungle in Madeira
I will definitely leave this list with an open end! If I stumble across something so cool I feel like I want to do it this year, I will simply add it to the list and keep you guys posted! I am currently doing a dopamine detox so I deleted all Social Media Apps from my phone. But next week I’ll open up my Instagram profile to the public and start sharing my journey on Instagram. I’ll leave my handle in one of my next posts so you can follow me there as well.
My fingers are itching already and I am also planning my first trips to tick some points off my bucket list already! Stay tuned.
